Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → ProperFitAI → Cancel Subscription. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Delete Account. This removes your server-side account and forum posts. On-device data (workouts, meals, body stats) is removed when you uninstall the app.
How do I export my data?
In the app: Profile → Export My Data. You’ll get a JSON file with all your on-device data.
The AI meal scanner gives me wrong macros.
The scanner provides best-effort estimates from photos. For higher accuracy, use manual logging with the food search — it draws on Open Food Facts and the USDA database.
I’m a free user. Why do I have to watch an ad to open Leaderboard?
Leaderboard and the AI Meal Scanner are premium features available to free users via a short rewarded ad. Subscribe to Premium to skip ads everywhere.
I can’t log in / the app says it can’t reach the server.
Check that you have an internet connection. If the issue persists for more than a few minutes, please email support@properfitai.com with your iPhone model and iOS version.
